Short opening times and long queues (at least during the summer of 2019). Didn't manage to get through. Waiting time was 2 hours.

Lenin reminds us of Russian revolution 1917 a truly adorable man. The Mausoleum opens at 10:00 am. You are advised to reach 2 hours before it actually opens, as there are chances that you may encounter long queues. It is closed on Mondays. There are security checks before you enter inside. You will spot graves of famous Russian personalities including Stalin before you enter the mausoleum. The entry to Mausoleum is free and you need to maintain silence. There are security guards and Russian army officials inside. The photography is strictly prohibited. When you step inside, you need to keep walking. It is advised that you do not stay longer inside because of huge rush behind. Do not stare the preserved body, bow your head to pay respect, and move on.
Aside from moral and ethic issues, this is a must see in Moscow. Just seeing with your own eyes the first leader of the Soviet Union is really impressive. The amount of history you feel is just tremendous when looking at him. The mausoleum is also beautiful inside with soldiers guarding the body. You will need to respect the place.
Quite impressive as I never imagined I was going to see him... that close. Located in the famous Red Square of Moscow, it's definitely worth to line up and enter. You're only allowed to be near his body for a few minutes only, which seemed alright to me...
Rest in Peace, our dear comrade Lenin. Long live communism!
A must do when in Moscow especially if you have an interest in history. Just takes one back in time. Just amazed to see it finally. Doesn't feel eerie. Very respectful place. The staff inside are mild and friendly and they urge you on and not stay too long. I was the only one there when I went in. The surrounding important stones are worth the time too after this.
When I visited Moscow previous year, I could not visit, because I did not know there are some limited date and time to visit here. So this time, I made it as a first priority. It was quite solemn and grand. You should be quiet inside of the tomb. You cannot stay and look around inside, just keep walking following people. It was very short, but very impressive visit. On the way to the main entrance, you can find some statues of Russian leaders...
Amazing Museum and Looks very real, The russian have done sooo well and conserved this historical figure
