Not a great experience at all - the engineer arrived on time and identified the problem with one of the boiler parts promptly. It was replaced the following morning, and it has worked fine since. HOWEVER, unless you have money growing on trees, avoid for the hidden costs: the replacement part and labour charges came to almost 400. Half of the payment was taken before the job was completed, too, which was not explained or discussed.
I recently had a new boiler installed by First Call at one of my property's. The whole process arranging everything was very easy, the call staff are very helpful and polite.The engineers work was to a very high standard, we will definitely recommend this company to many friends
Do NOT use this company. I really wish I had seen these reviews before calling them - they should be struck off. The man on the phone is incredibly rude and aggressive. The engineer was late, chatted on the phone to his mate most of the time he was here and, having charged me over 300, two days later I was without hot water again. He hadn't listened to me when I explained the issue I was having and diagnosed a completely different problem which has made no difference to the boiler. When I called the company again, the man on the phone was even ruder and when the engineer came back he said there was nothing he could do unless the boiler was showing the fault I had now explained to them four times. He said I could call him direct when it happened again. I did this and he arranged to come over when I finished work. He failed to show up or let me know that he wasn't coming and when I called the company to complain he said this was because 'it was a Friday night.' The company are currently refusing to refund me despite the fact that nothing has changed and I still only have intermittent hot water. Whatever you do, do NOT use this company.
I would NOT recommend this Company - I used them for a job in a tenanted property in SW London. My tenants have since told me that they were quite rude to them and having had to chase a copy of the invoice for over a month I have found the office staff to be incompetent and extremely rude with no regard at all to the paying customer!
