One of the best decisions I have ever made is sending my children to this school. I love the management teams, the teachers and everything else.

Used to be a good school until Dr. Moody left. Whoever's handling the school matters now lack common sense. They're not able to keep the library quiet but tells the children to put their phones away when listening to music. They accept too much people and blame the traffic in halls on children's phones. They also threaten children by saying that they won't have the same results for gcse if they move to other schools. Apparently, phones are no longer allowed here at all even for research purposes in the library or listening to music outside in the playground away from everybody else. Most of the rules are made for POWER PLAY and not exactly for the children's interest. It's rare for students to be treated with respect. All they do is shout because they can't handle the situation even if the child has an explanation. It is always \teachers are always right\. This school needs to sit down and stop acting so pristine when they have no right to be.

I have lived in the area for almost 40 years and remember this school when it was called Battersea Park School which was renowned for trouble. Since It changed hands to Harris Academy and was put under the supervision of Dr Moody it moved leaps and bounds and achieved an outstanding rating by Ofsted. This was the main reason I decided to send my children here. Whilst my children are doing well, I have to say that since Dr Moodys departure it is not the same and there has been a decrease in the discipline and emphasis on behaviour - I think the teachers are still providing quality education and hope that they can keep the school in the Outstanding category.

School is so rubbish now and the head teacher doesnot know how to run the school. Last year had the fire alarm set off over 6 times over the course of the week and they didnot even try to attempt to find out who it was. They ended up threatening all the students with going to jail and that the school would force the authorities to go for the most servere punishment. They now don't let kids do anything at break and lunch and they've banned phones for no reason s*it school and I would never send my next child there. They don't let students speak and some teachers even insult the students then put them in seclusion for responding back you can't even defend yourself in the school. Would put 0 stars but unfortunately not a option
