Fantastic ruined castle - well worth a visit. Absolutely no parking, so we found a space in the village and walked up (only about 5 minutes at the most). Amazing views, you can see why a castle was built here in the first place.

Very nice and quiet place. Can have a romantic picnic over there

One of the quieter English Heritage sites. Not a great deal to see and no facilities, but interesting if you’re in the area nonetheless Nowhere on site to park, so we had to find a spot in the village and walk up. Great views from the castle itself. Worth dropping in if you’re close by.
