As social clubs go, this is an extremely friendly one, with good bar staff and an excellent choice of beer!

Friendly knowledgeable staff with Beer nearly always on top form. Great selection, especially golden hoppy ales but occasionally a cracking dark ale too. Currently 3.00 a pint. Four full size Snooker tables and Pool table in separate side room. Big screen for footy/ sporting events.

Excellent club. So good in fact, it got the accolade of CAMRA Club of the Year 2017. Very well run with warm welcomes from the bar staff. Superb range of cask ales, usually five on, plus a cellar cooled real cider. Monthly beer night's, held in the upstairs room, add to the variety that may be had. Four snooker tables plus bowling green. Highly recommended.
