Good Tunisian food. Nice owners / service. Great north African pastry full of honey. I had a Tunisian salad with grilled green pepper and tuna. As it should be! The egg and mash potatoes brick was crispy and tasty. The grilled dorade with couscous was yummy. Don't forget to add Harissa (chili sauce) on every bite!

Best food I had in Marseille and best price. For 8 euros you can have a tasty and big cuscus, while everywhere else the average is 10 euros for just a pizza, and beetween 15 and 25 for a main course.

I was in Marseille with my family for vacations and we ate at restaurant Le Palmier... We felt as if we were in Tunisia. The food was really good and not expensive at all (around 10 euros main dish, dessert and mint tea) ... I would definitely go back!
This was my first time trying Tunisian food and man was I blown away. This was one of the the only restaurants open on Sunday after 3 pm and the staff were so friendly. We got the merguez couscous and the prune and lamb tajine followed by sweet mint tea and extra sweet desserts. SO DELICIOUS. YOU WON’T BE DISAPPOINTED.
The staff at the restaurant was very friendly and helpful despite not speaking English well. The food portion was generous but not heavily seasoned with spices as I expected. But, I still enjoyed my visit.
Excellent food and value! Open pretty late too.
Good restaurant, kind people, we ate good couscous and tajine, also fixed price menu for lunch, and a great variety of desserts. Reccomended!
