Carolina Ready Mix is the bottom of the barrel. I highly recommend staying away from them and using their competitor outfit Southern Concrete Materials. (SCM) for any concrete work. I am a licensed General Contractor and I've used both. The difference is night and day. SCM is much more professional and will not come to your house and lie to your face, while they call YOU a liar to your face. This is what happened. I hired a veteran concrete finisher with over 30 years in the business to pour and finish my under deck patio. Also a combat Marine veteran. The patio is about 15ft by 30ft. The man struggled with a mix which he ordered and which supposedly had 1% accellerant in it, but as the day rolled on the slab would not set. The finisher was contracted to finish the patio slick, but after 9 hours on site and many breaks to wait for slab to set, he finally gave up and said that that swing arch pattern is the best that he can do, because the slab was not setting as expected and he was just \pulling air\. The finisher also stated to me that he was 95% sure that the mix was bad. He said there was no accellerant, even though Carolina RM computer said it had accellerant. I complained to Carolina RM, the next day the manager comes over to see the work and blames the whole thing on the installer. I had no words, but I was warned by the installer that this company will never admit that they're wrong. They will take your money and leave you holding the bag with whatever they happen to put in it. Again, per my experience with Carolina Ready Mix I would strongly recommend staying away. Because if they happen to make a mistake it will be somehow be YOUR fault.

Used my driveway to turnaround a cement mixer truck and told me \its not there policy to do that but since the truck was empty Its fine\ Now my driveway has more damage to it and that's great
They suck!!! They pour there concrete like water and it want harden. It is dusting. All of the sand comes to the top . And they want make it good !!!!!
