Several years before he died, my son talked about wanting to be buried under a canopy of trees and close to his family; he definitely wanted visitors! Forest Lawn East seemed perfect -- it is a beautiful place -- and our experiences with Robert Murphy and others at Heritage Funeral Home confirmed we made the right choice. Robert is a caring, empathetic, and knowledgeable man. He guided us through a terrible time, providing strong support while remaining quietly in the background. He made our desire for a graveside service a reality, but also ensured it was safe for everyone. No doubt Robert provides this compassionate support to many families, but during those very sad days in July, he made us feel that we were the most important people in the world. My family and I remain very grateful.
