** Review based on experiences prior to COVID** I first came across Ceylon Inn, when I was in Tokyo for a business trip in May of 2014. Then when I returned in 2017,2018 and 2019 this was my first stop always. Let me say upfront that this is the best authentic Sri Lankan food I have eaten outside of Sri Lanka. Small restaurant with big bold flavors, instantly took me home to my moms cooking.. The food is as authentic as it gets. The amazing cocktails with Sri Lankan Arrack (Coconut Rum) was a hit amongst my colleges who went there with me. I found everything from short eats(finger foods) to classic dishes like Kotthu, Stringhoppers, Pork Devil, Fish Ambulthial, Hoppers, Rotti, etc. There was no shortage of deserts with Kiripani(Curd and Trickle) to mouth watering Watelappang and finished it off with a nice Sri Lankan hot tea !! I found excellent service from the owner and the staff. They were very welcoming and treated us to an amazing few nights.. yes we did dine there few nights in the 2 weeks in 2014 and then multiple occasions during 2017 to 2019. Looking forward to my next trip to Tokyo!!

No need long explations : simply the Desi restaurant in town Very decent prices for an extremely tasteful, fresh and generous food Thumbs up for the staffs kindness
The food and service was really good. The chickpeas curry took my breath away.
We enjoyed a variety of authentic and delicious Sri Lankan food. We ordered by the pictures in the menu and all was great. The staff is very warm-hearted and professional at the same time. It felt very cozy and we will definitely go there again to savor the rest of their exciting menu. They also have the local specialty dessert made from the fruit/flower (not sure) of a palm tree with cardamon flavor.
Great Sri Lankan curry. Made with coconut milk, the tastes are more subdued and have a more complex spices compared to the stronger Indian curries. I would recommend getting the parata or roti as a unique replacement for nan.
I really liked the chicken curry and the big piece of Nan with it. Also the lunch came with vegetable curry and a salad, pretty good deal! I think it was like 1100 yen
It’s pretty good but definitely too expensive!!!
The Japanese waitress was not friendly, don't really like her attitude towards guests. The chef was warm and always smile. We reached there around 8 at night, but weren't be seated until 9. The food was delicious, both mutton and shrimp curry were fresh and the flavor was richness. However, be prepared to wait for awhile.
