New development in Amble...actually nice new houses, but overall the estate lay out was not attractive- hence only 3 stars

Poorly built properties with ongoing faults and don't move here if you expect a useable broadband speed. A huge issue is the broadband; only slug speeds available. So slow, several people have moved out again because of this;too slow to work from home. So much for our MP's empty promise of super fast broadband. Lots of minor issues with the buildings that friends that live there are mentioning, especially poor finish. This is a common issue nationwide with Persimmon houses. (Check some of the online groups). Just seen the latest house going up and left open to the rain, with no protection at all. The windows were then put in and left closed and you can see the condensation running down the glass. There are far better, older properties locally.

I have a standard broadband connection and experience average speed of 14mbs. Still no fibre as yet.

This is Persimmons at its best NO Fibre Broadband facility, however everywhere in Amble has this facility.Profits before facility's shame really as Amble is great.

My daughter and her partner just bought a new build here and its lovely Faults still need corrected and the estate is still a building site so we'll see how things work out
