Swad Maharashtracha is very famous for its Maharashrian cuisines in Andheri west area. This place loved by all celebrities/big politicians/cricketers/playback singers & much more. Restaurant owner is humble & very focused to provide good quality & quantiry food to the customer. I visited with my friend today & we ordered: - Sabudana khichdi: Never eat tastier before! - Special Gavran thali: Maharastian thali with jhudka-bhakar taste with rice-daal, chapati, chaach. - Swad special Veg thali- this thali was almost twice of special gavran thali with additional item of Kothimbir wadi- thecha with kokum drink. - Dessert: Modak - this so much tastier so we ordered again. -main attraction was thier missal pav which is tasty as well as healthy because of pressence of Makti-moong for protein benefit & tastier was so much they informed maximum order is for thier Missal pav only. When we visited, AC dining place was not available, due to BMC order, but rest all things were perfect! Definitely recommended for delivery orders!!

Are you trying to find one of the best misal in mumbai? This place is definitely the one! They serve varieties of misal thaali and various Maharastrian dishes like kothimbir vadi, Thaalipeeth, sabudana vadas, fodni rice, etc. If you love Maharashtrian food and spicy food then this is the place for you to visit. I had many types of maharashtrian dishes which I never had before and all of them were really delicious. The place is quite small right now but it's gonna expand in few months but the food taste is speechless. My experience was amazing!!! What I had- Kothimbir vadi Thaalipeeth Masala Rice (fodni rice) Spl Misal Thaali Puranpoli You must surely visit the place as it serve one of the best Maharashtrian dish that too of affordable price. And try out the spl misal thaali, it consists math(मठ) and it is very healthy. Also the thecha was amazing. All the dishes were healthy, it didn't consist much oil and the taste was quite comfortable. HIGH RECOMMENDATIONS!!!!

If you are looking for authentic maharashtrian cuisine this place is for you. But you have to order only from apps like Zomato and Swigy as it is a small place but excellent in packaging. I have ordered a lot of times from them before. So this time I ordered Sabudana vada - It was of perfect taste, size, texture and crispy as always. Swad special misal pav- they give rasa seperate, usal seperate, farsan and chopped onions all seperate. This misal has authentic maharashtrian taste and very well prepared. Rice plate- If something they have to improve is the rice plate, the dal could have been little thick. I have had all the snacks and breakfast menu before also, all tasted as expected. But never had rice plate and it is the only thing that disappointed me. And Ukdiche modak - I remembered the one my mother used to make while having this. Perfect texture, shape and filling. I loved every bit of all the authentic Maharashtrian items as I am a mahatashtrian, but u should definitely try if you visit Mumbai for once.

Mast Marathi misal Pav is what I loved about this place ! I tried this restaurant for its authentic taste and bet you I wasn't disappointed ..you should surely try the Kothimir Vadi and Zhunka ..which is a complete meal in its self ..it's tasty and made with great spices but if you wanna try something spicy then you must opt for the Special Misal Pav and the mini rice thali as it consists of rice,dal,chutney,bhaji and salad ..to top it all if you love Maharashtrian dessert than you can call for the home cooked Puran Poli which just melts in your mouth and thank me later for it

Last evening I went to swad Maharashtracha with my office colleagues. Aftr a long tiring day at work,we were very hungry and wanted to eat something good. One of my colleague suggested this place as it was in proximity. We ordered paav bhaji ,misal pav and daal khichdi. All the above mentioned dishes were extremely delicious. Misal pav was as spicy as it should be We also had kothimbir vadi which was just like the ones we get in authentic maharashtrian restaurants. The food was served really quick ,which was needed because we were really very hungry so 100 points for service. The place is worth the price paid. Highly recommended to everyone who loves maharashtrian cuisines.

Lovely vegetarian place run by a couple. Most of the food has been consistently good. Vada pav, Misal Pav, Batata gravy subji, sheera, aam Panna. The pohe, and Maharashtrian thali has yet to be tried. So much so that it has become a quick snack order place for us once or twice a week.
