Dr Kalant’s staff are the rudest, unhelpful people on the planet. They treat patients terribly. Don’t waste your time and money here. There are more deserving offices to get treatment from. I’ve had 2 separate instances with them and I’m not sure why I ever wasted my time. Dr Kalant needs to review his hiring procedures

My daughter had her wisdom teeth out. I cannot say enough about Dr. Kalant. From the first moment we met him for our pre-surgical exam to the final process of him doing her dental surgery, I was so impressed. He is kind and makes you feel very easy and secure in trusting him. I will recommend him to everyone I know who is in need of dental surgery. He is an amazing doctor! Also I would like to give credit to his amazing Receptionists and the entire medical staff!

Unfortunately had a bad experience with this office, and can't say I would blame Dr. Kalant himself but this should be a lesson for his office staff. I scheduled a consultation a month or month and a half in advance for jaw surgery (a very major procedure), had to take a day off of work in the week to come on a Tues, and drive out far 2 hours for the journey from where I live for work. After arriving, filled out normal paperwork (surprising post COVID offices would still use paperwork, not digital), and waited to be seen. 15 mins passed, I asked the front rep how much longer, she stated he was finishing surgery. Another 20 mins, still stated finishing a surgery. Yet people who arrived after me were being taken back by this time. One hour passes, by this time my father who was referring me needs to get back to his own patients; I am about to miss another appointment I had after this. No real answer given why I could not be taken back. We had to leave without being seen, and no one ever went out of their way to let us know what's going on, or a heads up before the visit if running behind. This is a odd experience for me because I am a Practice Manager for a Dental Practice -- had I have a patient waiting more than 5-10 mins to be taken back for an appt, especially just a consult, they'd be very irate and it would set us back. An hour? That's totally unacceptable, and can't just be nonchalant at a specialist office like an Oral Surgeon - you rely on referrals for your work, you don't want them to just walk out or lose out on that kind of work. A consultation would have included a CBCT scan & xrays - why not start those right away and seat the patient, while your doctor is running behind, instead of having the patient sit out in the waiting room for an hour? Like I said, I hope my little advice can serve as a lesson for the staff; manage time a little better here. Beware and be sure to set what expectations you can with this office before you set up a visit.

I brought my son in for a consultation on getting his wisdom teeth pulled. Dr. Recommended that all 4 be pulled but wasn't able to provide details on why. I asked some questions because I wanted to understand if the surgery was necessary and what types of problems it would prevent. Dr. Kalant was annoyed with my questions and asked if I was an attorney. The staff is also rude. When I asked for an estimate of the cost of surgery they said they couldn't provide that until I scheduled the surgery. I explained that knowing the cost would help me make a decision on whether we would do it this year or next. The billing clerk said that she would have to discuss it with the doctor and if he approved the request, she could possibly mail me an estimate. It's been over 4 weeks and I still have not received the estimate.

Dr. Kalant did a wonderful job removing my wisdom teeth. He and everyone he works with were very kind to me and put me at ease. I'm very happy my dentist referred to his office!
