Had an amazing flight with Josh as Captain on Sat 25th May. Despite the weather closing in, the cloud base was high enough for us to maintain 2000ft (fl20) and have a lovely smooth flight which took us east out of the airport, over the City of Newcastle, giving a splendid view of St. Jame's Park, and the famous bridges that adorn the River Tyne, then further on passing the Angel of the North, then out towards the coast over Sunderland, then a northerly track towards North Shields with a great view of the mouth of the Tyne and back on a Westerly route towards the airport. We had to fly a holding pattern before coming into land while we waited for some air traffic to land and vacate the runway to the terminal. This is an experience I would recommend to anyone who loves flying and can't wait to repeat the experience. Very professional slick operation. Well done.

Northumbria Helicopters is terrific. Extremely helpful and welcoming staff, a pleasure to work with. Can be slightly awkward to find on your first visit, but carry on following signs to the general aviation terminal through the no entry signs and you'll get there.

I took my grandson on a helicopter on the above date, I have to say it was fantastic, a top class pilot, without looking out of the windows we wouldn't have known we were flying, it was that smooth, my grandson thought is was the best thing ever, thank you so much for a beautiful, cherished memory for us both, I have other grandchildren, I will be taking them on flights when they're old enough. A five star recommendation from my grandson & myself

It was my son's birthday present and I book my adventure flight on Easter Day. Pilot was very friendly, experience good, however, it was quite short flight.
