Nice place for an evening walk. You can spend nice family time along the way. We spent less than a hour because of cold. In summer it would be a fun place.

One of my family's and mine's favorites!! Nothing like going to Cliff Walk, especially when it is warm out. It's rare that we go on cold days, and still, such a great place to visit and even walk on the sand despite the jackets. The experience is very much elevated by visiting or checking out from the outside the mansions along the shore and even further inland. I always suggest this place to visitors and am excited to see new development!

I think it’s definitely a must see and must experience place in New Port. The trip took us about 3 hours (including just rest plus taking photos ) but you can definitely make it in 2. The views are magnificent, ocean is absolutely magical there . I recommend go there early in the morning before it’s too hot outside and while it’s not that many tourists. During the day it’s crazy crowded . Plus definitely take some water with you . Some sections of the trip is challenging but there is a map explaining which sections are harder then others . You also have an option to walk only part of the path - which is great because you can always come back to the point where you quit last time . Awesome experience

Really beautiful view, although this is a long walk it is worth while all your energy. There are some beautiful houses/hotels along the walk and on the other side is amazing blue ocean. It’s a narrow path with Covid we did realize everyone was wearing masks and cared for social distancing. Parking is also available on the street.

Go just to annoy the rich people who own property there and who fought so hard to try to stop/close down the cliff walk and who have so many snooty signs like “private property no sunbaking on the rocks” or “beware bad dog”. The walk is not wheelchair or stroller friendly as there are some scrambles over rocks and a few sets of short stairs. Worth doing regularly to remind the rich the plebeians can still spoil their view.
