I want to leave a quick but hopefully helpful review for those thinking of letting with Uni2 Rent. Me and my flatmate are new to the City and not very familiar with the housing situation but was very glad to have found Uni2 Rent, they were quick and easy to communicate with and most of all they made our experience renting in a new city hassle free. There are also some nice bonuses along with renting with them such as their helpful guide around Nottingham and access to different store discounts.

Disappointed is an understatement. Quite frankly I was disgusted with the service that uni2rent provided us with this year. Don't be mistaken by their voicemail, the only thing they are revolutionising is new ways to rip students off. The list of issues was endless, and even more disheartening that they wouldn't listen to our concerns when we raised a significant mould issue that was causing health problems. It was only when legislation was found by a parent, that was in our favour that something was done about it. Originally we were blamed for this issue (a common occurrence) but upon further inspection it was due to fault with the property. Not only were we charged an extortionate amount for cleaning despite the property being vacant for 3 months due to Covid and us still paying our rent in full, but took them months to deal with issues that I logged a month prior to us fully moving in. I have never dealt with a more unprofessional company. I couldn't give a worst recommendation, Avoid this company at all costs!!

I have been a landlord client of Uni2 for the past 4 years and have provided unrivalled service since I came on board. The properties are let before Christmas every year. Not being based in Nottingham allows me to focus on my other business leaving Uni2 to deal with any maintenance or other property related works. All in all a fantastic service all round and would highly recommend to other student landlords.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! TERRIBLE AGENCY!! If I could give Uni2 zero stars I would. After 2 years of using this agency, can safely say they provided one of the worst experiences as a student. You will not get ANY of your deposit back, due to silly reasons such as “dust”, even with a completely clean property. The properties they provide are unclean with various maintenance issues when you 1st move in. They will later blame this on yourself and charge you for it. You will not get money owed back to you in unused bill and utility costs at the end of tenancy - the agency will keep this money and avoid all contact with you when you request it. Uni2 seem to promote “friendly and young” staff - don’t be fooled they are all extremely inexperienced in the property agency market and are all unprofessional and extremely rude when confronted on their attitude. The “director” and “manager” of this company do not resolve any issues and all this agency gave myself and flat mate was problems. At this point I would advise any student to avoid them completely. Don’t know how this agency even operates given the practices it promotes.

I have just moved out of a uni2rent property and would have to completely advise against using them. Although the house was reasonably nice, it would appear you are just a way to make money. We had multiple issues with the house which were 'fixed' cheaply and hence would need redoing the next week. Even the maintainance guys had a moan about not being able to do fix the doors properly and joked about seeing us the next week again. We had radiators that would loudly vibrate and squeal day and night, but instead of fixing this, we were just told it happens in other houses too and it's \just one of those things\. However, the main issues came with the returning of our deposits. As we were moving out, the maintainance man warned us of how much is usually charged and even walked us into a flat that had been spotlessly cleaned to point out where they'd probably get you. Honestly, we panicked and spent hours cleaning our house top to bottom, and at the end had results we believed we surely couldn't be charged for. Yet (maybe not fully surprisingly after maintaince warning and other reviews) we had a 380 'professional cleaning charge' taken from us. But this was just one of the unreasonably high charges. We were also charged 150 for a replacement mattress due to 'staining' which I think just proves how Uni2Rent see their tenants as money and only money. We argued just a few of their points but other than a total 110 'goodwill' return, from our 1300 fine, it was largely useless as a lot of our communication with maintainance was only verbal, and we hadn't taken pictures of such small problems at the start of the year. Please be very wary if you have just moved into one of their properties, if not, just stay away.
