I've been meaning to write this review for months, but life and business and (non-computer) viruses have provided too many distractions. I recently had one of those \I know I shouldn't do this\ moments when I carried a notebook computer from the patio into the house... with a portable external hard drive attached via USB cable and riding precariously on the keyboard as I walked in... all the while thinking I was holding everything securely. Nope. The hard drive slipped off the keyboard, disconnected from the cable, and fell to a tile floor with one of those sounds that let you know your day was just ruined. From that point on, the drive was unreadable. It had about 1TB of critical business data, so I was dead in the water. After doing some online research, I chose Datalab because of their good reputation, high-end business clients, and nearby location. Datalab subsequently recovered 100% of my data and had a replacement drive to me in one week. While the price was sticker-shock high, the 100% recovery put me back in business with only a \mild\ heart attack ;) and no need to explain any data losses to my clients. I highly recommend Datalab when you truly need your data recovered without any limitations. They have the technology and expertise few others can touch.
