Robert has been teaching my son for three years, and my daughter for almost two. He is not only the most respectful young teacher I have met, but he makes this game a passion for all his students. He keeps it fun, engaging and serious at the same time. Even in covid times, online teaching has not been an issue to keep students interested and looking forward to his classes. We have been in numerous tournaments, many times with him, he is always supportive of his students and gets the best out of them. I have met few teachers as valuable as Robert. Robert is simply the best! Having grown up playing a ton of sports and having my kids now involved in a ton of activities, I have seen a wide array of coaching styles. It is rare to find someone who is both masterful at their practice and masterful at teaching it, and does it with a kind, positive, and patient personality that kids need. My son always looks forward to his lessons and has such a love for the game now.
Amazing teacher, very funny and knowledgeable! Lessons can be done online or in person. Everything is explained really clearly. I’m actually taught how to think and come up with my own ideas rather than memorize many openings and lines. 10/10 would recommend!
Robert is a consummate professional and amazing mentor. He is very engaged and inclusive in his teaching style while still incorporating FUN into the learning process. I highly recommend him!!!
Both my boys absolutely love their chess lessons! Robert is the BEST! Would recommend Panoptic to anyone looking for a chess teacher.
