So far, the experience of booking a delivery, storage and return delivery has been seamless. Everyone I've talked with has offered friendly, polite & important customer service. The drivers called ahead each time and was courteous. Next comes how delicate was the shipping & handling of my precious personal cargo? I'll soon find out after my closing and unpacking of my personal cargo and I hope I can say more wonderful expressions about PODS. Once I confirm the condition of my cargo which was packed tight by professionals and all is well, PODS will earn 5 Stars. Update coming soon.

PODS has made this morning experience difficult to swallow. They sent me a container that was not check before bring it, as a hole in the roof, and I had to pay more money out of my pocket for a tarp to keep the rain out. They lied stating that someone would show-up to repair it. Now stating that it will be repaired when they pick it up. Another lie... This pod will make the trip without the repair. This will be THREE days that our items have sat at risk for damage!! You can’t have faith in the expensive insurance they sale you.. A glass table top was damaged in transit from a previous service. We are still fighting with that company (that is not PODS, but that they push their service) to replace it. We are spending over 4K for this service. There should be a little more since of urgency to ensure that the customer is taken care of in this pandemic. Maybe PODS are doing well enough that customers are not family...., but numbers and margins for the quarter. I will ensure that my extensive network has note of this. Personal and corporate levels.

When I first began my journey with PODS I was very satisfied. However, I brought some pricing issues to their attention July 2, 2020. About 10 days later a customer service representative reached out to me via email. At first I was positive, but over a month has passed I have heard no resolution to my pricing inquiry. I email them weekly to remind them my inquiry is still pending. I've paid every fee and they are happy to charge my card but refuse to discuss charges after the fact. I've spent over 4600 with them in 5 months and they can't even resolve a 350 dispute or give me the time of day apparently. I understand this happens, I just hoped PODS was the type of company who would work to make sure valued customers are satisfied.

The prices for out of state moving are extremely outrageous already yet we expected it to be on the pricey side. What we did not expect is that they would charge us for 2 whole months of storage when we only had the POD in storage for a month and 7 days (the second month auto charges at a ridiculous price for storage: 320-just for one month!) The person that helped us in the beginning did not explain how this works and it's difficult to reach them at the customer service phone number on top of that. When you do reach them, customer reps are very rude and they have no manager to transfer you to (or so they say). I do not recommend them at all.
