EDITED TO ADD: I filed a complaint with the BBB so the company said they would take it off of my credit report at their next reporting- On my credit report it is STILL THERE listed with a 0 balance so it is STILL a negative item. I will be following up with the BBB and my lawyer if this is not completely deleted from my report within the next 30 days. This is absolutely ridiculous. They also said in their response on the BBB that they called me multiple times- NOPE. I literally was in the process of buying a home and answered every call that came through, even if I thought it was spam. They never called and if they did when I picked up no one would respond. They never left a message at all and I never received any mail from them. I just received a notice from my credit monitoring app of a new collection being reported from this company. The debt was for 737. I have been diligently working to improve my credit over the past year and was shocked to receive this notification since I have never received anything from this company and did not owe anyone any money that I was aware of. I contacted the company and they said it was for a medical bill for my daughter from seven years ago. This medical bill was one that I had appealed literally seven years ago and have not heard anything else about since. Apparently this company has an incorrect address on file for me so whatever notices there were sending me were going to the wrong address so I never had an opportunity to dispute this SEVEN YEAR OLD debt that was already disputed literally seven years ago. I filed a dispute with the credit bureaus, the BBB, and just left a message with my lawyer. Honestly I am a freaking critical care nurse that has been working the front lines of this pandemic and my stress level is absolutely through the roof right now. This just pushed me closer to the edge. This company should be ashamed of themselves.

This is a great company to work with. The people I have talked with have been extremely courteous. I had fallen behind on my student loan debt and if it wasn't for Erin Moore I don't know what I would have done. If you had to work with a debt collection agency this is the one. THANK YOU ERIN!!!!!

Noticed that this debt agency had been on my credit report and decided to reach out to settle my financial affairs back in mid 2020. I made a small payment of a something like a 100 bucks out of about 1,400. Due to employment issues because of the pendemic. I couldn't make anymore payment. RHONDA MOORE (my assigned agent) gave me the space I needed to handle life's situations until I was able to resume my payments. No frequent calls from random numbers, not annoying email or letters. Just pure understanding and respect for my wishes. Upon returning ion Feb 10th, 2021 I reached out to Rhona the agent. She was still cheerful and upbeat as before(a rare characteristic most customer reps lack these days). She answered all of my questions and catered to my needs. She alongside her team were knowledgeable, professional and and down-to-earth. I've literally never been more happy to pay an old debt. Thank you guys very much at LMM and hope you service the rest of your clients as well as you did me.

I know, they're the most hated industry in the country. However, about ten years ago I had some medical bills sent to collections. Those companies were horrible to deal with. This past December, I got a notice that credit had been pulled on my husbands account. It was LMM. I called them promptley to find out what was going on (bc we had never receieved any mail) . Was directed to Marjorie. First, she is the kindest lady ever! We told her our situation and how there was a huge mistake from the original filer. She worked with us to ensure everything went well, even made a followup call after the fact to make sure we had received the letter stating everything was clear. Everyone we spoke to was incredibly helpful and just wanted to make sure we were satisfied with their service. They may be in an unfriendly industry, but for a debt collector, they sure went out of their way to help! Thank you, LMM, and especially Marjorie!
