I been hiking here since I been a kid. Nice hidden forest on the Middlefield/Middletown Border. The trails are always maintained. The State made a couple of structures throughout the trails - bridges, walkways, and signs. Great place for a hike, photography, and dog friendly :)

The blue trails in CT are a little treasure that CFPA keeps alive! Thank you!

It is a nice place to go for a peaceful walk.good trails well marked and clean ,good for elderly people, who cant walk in hills and rough terrain. Had a few muddy places but it was spring time.so once the weather warms it will dry up.

CT Forest and Parks is THE organization to support if you love walking in the woods. The Blue Trails system is over 800 miles of well-marked and well-loved trails - their book identifies them all and is a must for any serious hiker.
