It’s an okay restaurant to eat at near the Vatican State. The restaurant looks really cute and is located at a really beautiful street for pedestrians with tons of options for food. It’s sort of touristy. The food was so-so. My boyfriends pasta was super delicious but my seafood pasta was really bland and smelled very fishy and not like fresh seafood at all. I think you could get better food somewhere else in that area.

Enjoyed stopping into Il Mozzicone after a trip though the Vatican. It's solid prices and decent food which is hard to find close to landmarks in Rome.

Okay place. Not a restaurant that I can highly recommend; if you're in the area, there certainly are a few better options. Do not chose this place if you're looking for vegetarian dishes; there isn't much to choose from here. We were seated and it took them five minutes to hand them the menus - after I had to explicitly ask for the menus. We ordered sparkling water and received still water. The main course was served within a few moments after serving the entrée. The seafood risotto wasn't overwhelming at all. For 16 I do expect a bigger portion and maybe even some squid (even rings aren't that much to ask for). Having clams and prawns as the only two seafoods doesn't really justify the name and the according price tag. Also, the pizza crust could be a tad thinner. The waitress rounded up in her favor when returning the change. While not a big problem, this really isn't something that should be happening in a otherwise well kept restaurant; this isn't New York.
