My son and i were looking for the largest whitetails in North America. Well, this place is it! My son and i have lease hunted in Texas for over 30 years and were simply tired of the drama that leases come with. We had never been on a high fence \Trophy\ ranch before. It has always been on my bucket list to harvest a true \trophy\ whitetail. My son and i both shot a 201\ and 221\ buck each. The quality, body size and antler size on these deer are truly amazing. Besides the monster bucks we shot, the guides, Joe, Mike, and Shorty were truly the nicest people we've met in a long time. Randy, the cook, made some killer ribs and food for all. My wife had come with me and she was a little concerned about her feeling out of place. The boys and the other paying hunters were true gentlemen and made her feel right at home. We want to thank Shorty and Greg for a truly unforgettable first time and will be back for many years to come.

I highly recommend Wilderness Whitetails. I have hunted there for the past two years and have a great time. The whitetails are truly legendary. You will not see bigger bucks anywhere in the United States. Their staff and owners are great guys and go out of their way to make sure that you are always being taken care of. Our family had a great time at Wilderness Whitetails, accommodations were spacious (the best meal was the dinner BBQ each night), they only harvest animals that are 4 years old or older , so you have an opportunity to take a very nice animal home - can hardly wait to go back!
