Decided on here purely because it had a plant based menu and catered for everyone. The food was absolutely on point, tasted fresh and homemade. The staff were very welcoming and polite. Will definitely be going back and would highly recommend.

Fantastic all-rounder. Nicely done out, great location overlooking the valley, friendly and helpful staff, good beer, and the best pub food for miles around. The fish and chips is amazing! I really can't find fault. (Just to forewarn dog owner though, it's not a dog friendly pub)

It was recommended by some good friends, so four of us booked a table for a Saturday night. You can sit and eat in the bar, where there was a nice wood burning fire,or, as we did, go into a small dining area that is off the bar lounge. I recommend this. The menu is varied, not over bearing and there are also Specials. We all had starters, they were excellent. They do not scrimp on portion sizes! My wife had the sea bass off the specials and I had home made steak and kidney suet pudding. We shared a sweet. Drinks are very reasonable. Service was 1st class. We will be booking again in the very near future.

Really like this place. Lovely location nice small outside area to sit for a drink. Staff are always fantastic, friendly and look like they enjoy their work. We often just eat in the bar area as opposed to the restaurant section but it makes no difference to the experience. Food is well priced and very good quality, not a bad experience yet. I recommend the steak pie it’s amazing. typical pub grub with the addition of alternative cuisine dishes the menu is diverse and you’re not short of options.
