I never write reviews, but I had to for this place. Booked an appointment online to visit the store as we were recommended by a few people. Arrived about 15 minutes before our appointment time, partner and I looked around the store for approx 10 minutes and we weren't even approached by any of the staff at any given moment but we did see them laughing/smiling at whatever was amusing them on their phones by the bed section. There was other customers in the store at the time too. We had to approach someone, asked a young lad if they did LVT flooring, simply told 'No.' Asked where any stores nearby did LVT to be told 'not a clue, I'm not from Rotherham' and walked off. Safe to say we immediately left the store after this pleasant (!!!) interaction. Another local store accommodated us with much better customer service.

Unfortunately the service we received was absolutely terrible, carpet measured wrong but still fitted, house left In such a mess it was frightening, customer service shocking, whe. Came back to refit next day fitter made wife feel so uncomfortable in own house was crying when got home from work, please if you can avoid like plauge

In shop the service was excellent. The quality of the product excellent. Unfortunately the delivery not so good, arrangements were made to deliver while i was unavailable. The instructions were not followed, they had to leave with a neighbour, who was shielding at the time. The bed was placed in their garage, which arrangements had then to made for individuals to aid putting into the house. I contacted the company afterwards & am still awaiting a response. So disappointing as the pre delivery service was very good.

First time i dealt with these it took them three attempts to deliver the correct bed. Second time i was given a quote which i accepted for the supply and installation of new carpets. When the carpet filter had finished the job he asked for 85 saying fitting wasn't included in the price. I rang the office and they pointed out that on my invoice it mentions having to pay the fitness (in very small print). I feel i was deliberately mislead as the guy in the shop had definitely said fitting was included in the price. In summary, 2 experiences with this company both rubbish. AVOID!!!

I don't normally write reviews but I must say that visiting Wilson's carpets in Parkgate was possibly the worst ever shopping experience I have had. After visiting a local carpet shop I thought I would try Wilson's to see if they were cheaper and expected good service as most of the reviews were good. I was after 2 bedroom carpets and 2 stairs carpets and I'm no expert so I asked the first shop assistant that I came across for help, he just told me to pick some carpets and they would send someone to measure up. I asked which were best for stairs and his reply was just 'anything short pile'. I have no idea what carpets are short pile or not. So I chose some carpets and decided to ask another member of staff for help and he was equally as miserable and not very helpful. The man that came to measure up was quite pleasant but I have still not heard back with a quote. For some reason my custom was not valuable and I will definitely not be using them this time or in the future, I would rather give my money to the pleasant local carpet fitter, despite him probably being more expensive, as he clearly does value my custom. I was expecting good things after such good reviews from other people so not sure why I had such a bad experience.
