Slick, relaxed setting to sip island-distilled gin, rum or vodka to your liver’s content. Cosy up on one of the leather sofas or listen to a talk (and enjoy the tastings) about the working distillery, which is on display behind a glass wall next to the bar. We were pleasantly surprised that the talk was an informal affair; just go up to the bar and ask when the next talk is, and they should come over as soon as they’re free. After the talk, we clinked our shot-glass servings of rum, vodka and gin at the tastings; the staff really know their stuff. We visited during the winter, so we sat inside (plenty of tables to choose from). That said, we’d be keen to return and sit outside during the warmer months!

Very lovely Gin bar/Pub with comfy sofas and dog friendly. Sadly couldn't see the distillery due to covid but I'm sure when it's open again it would be a nice treat. Gin is slightly more expensive here than at the rest of the shops on the Island, but the food is really nice. They have a call button on each table for service and for bills so you need not go anywhere. Make sure to bag the lovely leather couches on either side as you enter, they'd make for a nice hideaway on a rainy day. Make sure you ask for the Gin taster tray!

We've been to the Wishing Well many times, and done their tour previously, they have also started to do food this year which is a bonus but although we love the place and their products we think that their prices at the Wishing Well are increasing too much, as we recall gin cocktails being priced at 5.00 at one time but they are now 9.00. Recently we bought a bottle of the salted vodka and normal gin at 38.00 each but too my surprise it can be purchased online through several companies considerably cheaper. I hope the IOW distillery will review hopefully. We all know the pub retail sector has had s difficult year but overcharging doesn't bring customers back quickly. Hope to see you again in December though.

Really awful experience. Firstly, as other reviewers have mentioned, this place was so busy, social distancing was non existent! Parking is at a premium and was full when we arrived. There is nowhere around to park as on a main road. Once we spent 10-15 mins waiting for a space the chaos then begins in earnest. You queue in a socially distanced non-existent line at the door. Once in at reception there was no member of staff to be seen. The place was packed! All seats full, people wandering around all over the place. We just walked to the ‘shop’ at the back which is absolutely tiny and not worth the wait at all! The distillery was closed (understandable to be fair) but you could view through glass widows. There is an outside rear space, which I imagine is nice during the warmer months but no use any other time of year. I would recommend the owners consider covering this area and expanding existing space. The price of the gin was questionable to say the least. 48 for a bottle of Mermaid gin. We refuse to pay silly prices such as this. The gin is available in the local Morrison’s for some ten pounds cheaper at 38!! It makes no sense at all. We left irritated, frustrated and will not be returning or recommending.

Put off by lack of social distancing with customers who are not eating or drinking inside. Seems they think it's ok to just wander in look about and leave without face covering. This deterred me from browsing. Did look a nice place to be, so may come back if it's quiet and eat out side .
