I loved it primarily because the staff was so polite, the entrance was so clean and nice, the hotel itself so close to Sapporo station and for all of that, quite cheap. Unfortunately, I didn't get to try the big bath on the 9th floor as it was being repaired, but the hotel provided me with a twin room instead, so I'm still happy. The entrance area has a lot of helpful brochures for tourists, with maps, in English too. Bathroom has all amenities, towels, razors, tooth brush, hair shampoo and conditioner, everything. I had one minor problem with the door key card, I couldn't figure out how to open the door. The trick is, you have to insert the card for half a second, not longer, and then pull it out real fast. The explanation is written on the card, but it is only in Japanese.

Just APA hotel, safe choice in Japan. Kinda small, but always clean. A public hot tub is a plus.

The room has bigger single bed and bigger tubby than does other hotel lol! Onsen and coin laundry are located on 9th floor. Ladies’ onsen has particular code you can get it from the receptionist. Bring your own towel to the spa/onsen room. Though everything was not new and shiny, it was worth the stay. The only downside was the wifi connection, it was not as fast as I expected.

Had a poor check in experience here -- limited English with front desk. It was a challenge for them to explain they only give 1 room key per room, regardless of how many occupants stay. As we were leaving the next day, another family had a similar issue asking for 2 room keys but being refused based on hotel "policy." Construction demolition scheduled for the building next door, 8AM-5PM every day. Be aware if booking in the next little while. Bathhouse facilities are so-so, small, but clean and nice. Breakfast was about the same.

Service was excellent, room size was larger than expected, breakfast food was superb and very close to Sapporo station. Highly recommended

I feel bad giving it two stars but there are two big issues you have to know. 1) they will not give you two key cards for your room. This is the only time in Japan I experienced this and literally every guest checking in had the same complaints. They just won’t do it, I cancelled my 2nd night due to this fact alone. 2) they are demolishing and building a tower next door. Construction starts at 8am and they are not messing around. Double check if it is still ongoing before you book. Otherwise this is a standard APA. Decent spa nothing special. I would recommend checking out the JR hotels nearby.

If you are of Chinese or Korean descent, or an non-Japanese Asian tourist, spend your money elsewhere. While the staff at this hotel are friendly and helpful, the CEO of this hotel is incredibly racist and believes that Japan's involvement in WWII is due to "white nations" (see photos attached from magazine in my hotel room written by the hotel's CEO). This is not only historically inaccurate but also incredibly insulting to the many victims of the war, most of which are from China and Korea. I wish I had known this before staying here, as I would have preferred my money to go somewhere else. I have attached photos of this magazine, published by the hotel's CEO including the article that he wrote.

The location is strategic, a stroll to Sapporo station, a place for transit to chitose airport. The staff was very polite and helpful. Guests can use their onsen unlimitedly. However, we dislike the bed we have, very soft.
