I have an heirloom ring from my late grandmother that's about 60 years old, there's part of the band that are very thin and fragile and that part broke! I scheduled an appointment on a Saturday evening for the upcoming Thursday. Went to see Taylor and she was so so so so so FRIENDLY and lovely! She gave me an estimate along with about a week for a timeline. They delivered amazing work for a reasonable cost AND ahead of schedule. Thank you! Thank you! Being without that ring for a week made me feel like I was missing a part of me.

A few weeks ago I bumped my ring on the top edge of my mailbox at just the right angle to cause the stone to fall out of the setting! Luckily, I was able to recover the gem and set up a quick appointment with Baraka. The repair estimate was reasonable, and ultimately ended up costing less than what was quoted initially by phone. I enjoyed my selling experience at Baraka. I went there to sell some jewlery I don't wear. Jamie was very knowledable and answered all of my questions. Setting up the appointment was easy. Jamie responded to my email very quickly. In the shop, there were plexi partitions, everyone was masked, and there are only up to 4 customers allowed inside at a time. Baraka is a really lovely shop and a great addition to the neighborhood.

My fiancée and I cannot express how amazing our experience with Jamie at Baraka Gemstones was. I first met Jamie in my search for a sapphire engagement ring. I visited Baraka with little knowledge and experience for such an important purchase. Jamie answered all my questions without any sales pressure at all. After talking with Jamie I left to think about my options. A few days later, I realized I wanted to involve my fiancée in the design process to create the perfect ring she will cherish forever. This was the beginning of an exciting adventure. Over the next few months and through the beginning of the COVID restrictions, Jamie helped my fiancée and I custom design an engagement ring. Jamie found us the perfect sapphire at the Tucson Gem show, he helped us design our custom setting, and delivered the perfect ring. Throughout this adventure Jamie always kept us up to date on the process, answered our questions, provided us choices with pros/cons and no pressure, and guided us to a beautiful engagement ring.
