This place was amazing and we will be back. We were there in September 2019 and were planning to go back in 2020. Everything was excellent and my wife still dreams of the risotto al tartufo

Just off the main plaza in Siena, a nice cozy place with great food. We came for the Pici, a thick noodle from the region and were not disappointed. Our family also tried the minestrone soup (was just OK), the steak (really good) and the chicken and mushrooms (bland, so not recommend). The tiramisu was fabulous. The wine comes in a huge jug of ordered by the liter-two adults could not finish! Overall I recommend this.

We didn’t realize until later that their specialty was truffle mushrooms!! Wished we tried it. We got a carbonara spaghetti and a cheese and pepper pici. We were served their “typical Siena soup” made with tomatoes and breads which was delicious. Their sliced bread is included in their 15% service fee (indicated on the menu). The pastas were very delicious, and the pici noodle was fresh. They were quite rich for us but they tasted very good. The caprese salad was refreshing as well. The waiter gentleman was very kind and helped us with questions on the menu. Would love to come back here to try their truffle dish and steak!
