I was with Dr. Carson for almost 17 years. He is great. However the office changed a few years back. The patient/office communication has gone to you know where. It took me almost a month to get a renewal on my testosterone which put me way off my injection schedule by weeks. There was humming and hawing back and forth about blood work which I had had done and was fine but the communication inside the office failed me. I'm a retired medical professional myself and I can tell you that there appears to be little if any communication between the staff and the Drs. and the patients seem to be left in the background. It wasn't always like this but it sure seems that way now!

I want to express my tremendous gratitude to Dr. Kyle for his care, not only in treating my urological condition but also for managing further referral for an unrelated issue discussed during my post-op appointment. Without your care, the gastroenterology condition would have gone unnoticed until further damage to the bile duct worsened enough to become symptomatic. Oregon Urology is without question the absolute WORST medical office I have ever experienced. They refuse to answer their phones and instead want you the put your entire day on hold waiting for them to call you back, which does not happen in a timely manner. I can understand occasionally having delays in answering phones but in this office's case they NEVER answer when you call. I even sent a message through their messaging system over 3 months ago and as of now I still have not gotten a response. If you have a pressing medical issue RUN, don't walk, to another office as this office does not care about patients!!! I feel an update is in order. My feelings are for the office itself, which is where care starts. I have had multiple very bad experiences with this office. However, if you can survive the torture of getting in to see a provider, the medical staff is for the most part top rate.

Thank you to everyone at the Oregon Urology Institute and the Oregon Surgery Center. I am so grateful for your professionalism and promptness in helping me get back on track. It’s very evident that this clinic is constantly busy, and as a result you might not get in right away or get someone on the phone right away as well, but don’t let that scare you away! It is evident that even with the high volume of traffic, each employee here cares greatly about their patients. Friendly staff and thorough health care. Would HIGHLY recommend to anyone.

The most kind and compassionate clinic I have ever been to, I would have them as our families provider if I could see them for everything! I would recommend this clinic to anyone in need of compassionate, competent care! I completed the survey and you can see by the questions they are asking they really care about you as a person! If only all Dr offices were this way it would be a different world
