6:15 flight, arrived 2.5 hours early, 03:30am as instructed. No one at ticket counter so we stood in line until 5 am when they started checking baggage. Once seated at gate, all food services closed except for a bar. Finally the farthest Starbucks opened, but I didn't have 45 minutes to stand in another long line. Not impressed. Airline service was fine, airport service was not.

Airport looks like not working full capacity. The plane in another hand was full. The airport was clean. One of the elevators was not working. Most of the airlines boots appear empty. Good luck trying to find someone to help you to answer your questions.

Let’s get those terminals open between each other again. It’s been 15 years since they’ve been opened at least and it’s an extreme inconvenience for travel between terminals to rely on a shuttle that comes by whenever it chooses with no apparent or actual schedule. Especially in bad weather. Let’s get rid of TSAs “break room” between terminal 1 and 2 and worry about filling the gates later. Especially for handicapped customers traveling between terminals (huge ADA issue for wheelchair and accessible folks).

At. Louis is a nice city. I would think the airport would be a nice airport. It just seems to be old and outdated. Everyone was friendly and knowledgeable.

The airport was clean and organized. I wouldn't be vfc fearful of flying right now.
