Had an absolutely super hack today with instructor Molly H in Richmond Park. Jim, the horse, was so sweet and Molly was lovely and very friendly. The only part I didn't like was having to get off at the end! A fantastic day out and can't wait to return again (hopefully soon!)

I had the total pleasure of riding Rio this morning, accompanied by Molly H on Sacha. Couldn't think of a better way to start the morning! Rio is a cheeky, forward going boy but incredibly comfortable and fun to ride. Molly was also a delight - we kept a good pace to the hack and chatted the whole way round. Can't wait to book my next session!
We went to Stag lodge 1 for our daughter's first ride on a pony. It was the best experience we could ask for. Friendly service. Will definitely book more lessons. Beautiful surroundings in Richmond Park.
I went for a one hour hack at Stag Lodge Stables with Sandra this week. I really enjoyed riding in the Richmond Park. The horses are truly meritorious. I could tell that they taken a really good care of. It is always pleasant to ride a well-groomed horse! The instructor Sandra is professional and gives valuable tips about how to ride specific horses. I also loved talking to her. I definetely recommend Stag Lodge Stable!
I INITIALLY POSTED THE REVIEW BELOW - but have since had a very good encounter with someone from Stag Lodge. I was a bit hasty in my review. Someone from Stag Lodge reached out to me to explain the situation. The instructor I was looking for is new and therefore not online just yet. She guided me on the best way to request her and I really appreciated the professionalism and good communication. ************************************************************************** I grew up riding in the States. I was able to book lessons with the same instructor every week for many years. I find that the online system at Stag Lodge (while it looks pretty) is not good. They should have the option to book via instructor. Instead you have to choose date and time and they give you the option to book instructor but it's almost always only one person and it's never who you are looking for. I have the luxury of a flexible schedule and I looked on every day at every time over the course of two weeks and never once found the instructor I wanted. This system needs to be fixed - you should be able to request by instructor. I had a really good first ride with Molly but I hesitate to go back because of this reason alone. I don't want to explain my situation every single time I go for a lesson.....riding should be progressive - I shouldn't have to waste 10 minutes of the session explaining to my new instructor (possibly a new one every time) my history with riding.
