I flew from Denver to Chicago and made the drive out here for the 2020 Horror-con with Bruce Campbell and all I can say was: It was worth it!! Everything about the place was really special, the well-maintained facilities and aesthetic, the staff, food was good, nothing too crazy, and the old school vibe were great. Video quality and sound was great(surround in the rental was excellent!), my first drive-in experience and I was not disappointed after years of blu-rays and 7.1 in my home. I paid good money for my ticket and travel to get here and I was really happy with they production they put on. Thanks for the memories!

Well, at first, the staff is very friendly and efficient. Girls in the booth and the ladies in the concession stand always were polite and said thank you. The event I went to had a picture op and the extremely long line went by with great speed, mostly due to the entertaining instruction sessions, (\keep in your bubble\) & their experienced organization. Also, Mike & Mia, the owners, really show that the Midway Drivein is a labor of love. Mike did a couple of announcements and you can hear it in his voice. They have a really perfect venue that I am 100% certain I will be driving 90 minutes to enjoy. Thank you to them and the whole staff to make my experience a bright moment in these difficult days.
This was the best drive in theatre I’ve ever been too! The staff were wonderful and experienced and they even play vintage drive in ads before the movie. Will definitely be coming back as soon as possible!
