I have had two children go through Concordia, and worked with this school in various ways for over a decade. They have a wonderful atmosphere centered in grace and compassion, with a strong commitment to helping students grow academically, socially, and spiritually. Both my children have gone on to have successful high school tenures, with one graduating from college and the other heading to college this year-- each having been well prepared for their future endeavors by the tremendous faculty and staff of Concordia. I whole heartedly recommend them without reservation.

I attended Concordia from 1990-94 and it was an incredible experience. My best friends today are from from those years, and I have much fonder memories of Concordia than of my public school years. The education was also excellent, so much so that when I went to public school in 9th grade it was suggested that I move up a grade. Concordia was where I learned I had a passion for writing, started my first business (selling origami inja\ stars), and made friendships and memories that have lasted a lifetime. I highly recommend putting this school at the top of your list.
My son has just started school here in s second grade. He was feeling bored at his previous school and just beginning to fall through the cracks because he was so far ahead. His teacher here is AWESOME, so far. She really cares about my son and listens to what I have to say. The kids have a great opportunity, both academically and spiritually. If you have a chance for your child his is an opportunity you will be glad you took.
This school was extremely harsh with my son because of his developmental disabilities. The vice principal was EXTREMELY RUDE to both me and my son- even going as far as accusing me of starving him towards the end of our short stay because he has an issue of putting objects in his mouth. There was nothing loving or Christian in their values. Very painful experience for both of us. BUT I forgive it and know they did the best that they could within their understanding. Ms.Kamarath really made learning fun while my son attended her class for Kindergarten. He loved the letter friends(puppets that help kindergarteners connect words with the letters of the alphabet!) and really grew in the ways of socializing with his peers. The small class sizes are great too, and really influenced my decision to send him.
This school has a daycare that the kids that go either to Conordia or Fawcett elementry. I personally went there. They don't force art projects just encourage you to. They are very kind and loving people if you need someone to talk to or for homework help and if you need breakfast they have it even if you have Dieitray Resticions or Aliergies. Over all Extremely nice staff and a nice place to go if you need school, daycare, or even preschool.
