I guess I should’ve read the newer reviews! I have a feeling this hotel changed management about 6 months ago. The current, somewhat high rating is leftover from about 6 months ago when things seemed to be different. As others have noted, the pool is filled in. One reviewer spoke of a rooftop terrace for drinks? Nooooo such thing exists on the premises anymore. The rooms are a bit rough. Stains all over the carpet, moldy stained bathtub, things falling off, and ours smelled of stale cigarettes even though it was non smoking. It did have a full size fridge though which is helpful because we always travel with lots of food. The kitchen didn’t come equipped with any dishes or silverware or pots or anything, so if you do want to make use of the kitchen you’ll have to bring your own stuff. Wifi was very weak so don’t expect to do anything more than check your email. We personally didn’t see any roaches or anything like other reviews have mentioned. The bed felt clean and was fairly comfortable, although the sheets were ripped down at the bottom where my feet were (I assume a guest with long toenails was responsible for that ). Customer service was fine. Not particularly nice or helpful but not the worst. We had our dog with us and the guy at the front desk kept making me promise he wasn’t going to mess up our room. My dog is very well behaved so that wasn’t an issue, but at the same time they charge a 50 deposit for dog damage so like, either allow dogs and charge your deposit and don’t bug people about it or don’t allow dogs if you don’t trust them. All of this being said, it was only 35 bucks and we were only staying the night, so it was totally fine for the price. I just felt like I would’ve benefited from seeing more recent reviews so I thought I’d leave one!

No pool its filled in, all the lamp shades were cut, has a working jacuzzi but mold on top and scratches all over the bottom. The bathroom faucet wasn't secure it moved when you tried to use it. Door looks like its been busted in. I can just say the bed was clean and comfy.
What the rooms actually look like. Get a tour before checking in. I’m currently on hold (going on an hour) with Expedia about cancellation. Cancellation policy states free cancellation if before 6 pm, but I canceled prior to 4 pm and was still charged a 50% no-show fee. Absolutely terrible.
If I could give them anything lower than a 1 star, I would. I didn't even stay at the place because they have horrible reviews yet was still charged. I should have read the reviews before booking with that roach motel.
Terrible experience. We had bed bugs and roaches in our room. When I called the front desk. All they said was oh well come and get your refund. Please do not do business with this hotel Chain.
