I'm still here as I'm writing this so I don't want to jinx my visit lol. But seriously, make your appointment by phone or stop by, don't rely on walk in appointments, after 9am you're out of luck because other walk-ins beat you to the punch. Come to your appointment no earlier than around 10 minutes prior or they'll make you wait outside in the cold to respect social distancing. Everyone here is nice which is weird for this part of the Bronx but I'll take it!

The staff are very kind and friendly, they painstakingly take their time to make sure you understand whatever information they are trying to pass across to you.

I arrived at the hospital as a walk in at 7:15am for the dentist since I have never been there. I was the 2nd in line. I waited an hour then was bought upstairs to the dental office at 8:15am to get checked in. I had to get all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed and they was able to give me an appointment for the next morning for surgery. The nurses was very sweet and helped calm me down before surgery. I have metro plus and they accept and covered everything. The front desk people were fine at the entrance. I recommend this hospital for dental, I have never tried any of their other departments.

I had my first child at north central, it was an induced labor and I was not dilating. My mid wife and nurses where great, they made me feel comfortable, they tried everything to make sure I didn’t get a c section. I got an epidural and the doctor was so gentle putting it on me I didn’t feel a thing, he talked to me all the way through. For my next child I’ll definitely be going back to north central to give birth.

I went to get my tooth pulled out today at the dental clinic and the staff there were very nice and The surgeon Dr. Zaccariello, D and his assisstant made me feel really comfortable throughout the whole process. So thank you! The only issue that I had was that the lady at the front desk at the main entrance in the lobby spoke to me like I was a dog. I couldn't believe it. On top of that I had a very bad toothache to begin with so you can only imagine how I felt. This happened around 7:15 am this morning. I am not a dog! I'm a human being! Even dogs get treated better than how she talked to me! First impressions begins once a patient steps foot into the entrance of the hospital! I hope she changes that!
