The potholes were alright, but the real experience here is the journey to and at the top of the potholes mountain. Amazing view. Be aware you need to climb down steel ladders mounted to the stone wall to get to the potholes.

Great little hike, 1 hour each way. Follow the Red trail signs to the holes. Nice waterfalls along the way and great views at the end. Holes are cool too but view is better. Steep ladder climb down at the end to see the holes. No dogs or small kids for that ladder part but the rest is fine for kids and dogs. To get there you must leave Road E134 before the tunnel and take the old road called Oynaelva. Park where you see a foot bridge next to the road, this bridge is the trail head.
Great place to see, feel rocks and mountains and climb. Not suitable for small kids. Not so many people. Great views. Small parking unfortunately. If you want to feel Norway without tourist crowds it is perfect place to visit when being next to Hardanger fjord.
A fun walk. Fantastic views of the village and valley below. Unfortunately we somehow managed to not find the potholes. We'd be willing to give it another go next time we pass.
Sehr schöner Weg aufm alten Postweg gefunden.
Stilige formasjoner i fjellet.
Daher 5 Sterne
