Really epic museum and gift shop. So much to see, great for kids too. Very reasonable entrance fee, ample free parking available. A wonderland for WW2 airfare memorabilia. Even a V1 doodle bug on display activity sheets for kids too. Tonnes to buy from the shop inside. Amazing staff and service.

Brilliant cheap day out. Lots of local history from WW2.

For a warbird enthusiast this is the place to get back to the core of what it was all about. Trevor showed us around with the ease of a 'veteran' and his knowledge of planes, recovery sites, pilot's names, dates, etc. is exceptional. An enormous amount of small and seriously big pieces of aircraft history is displayed in a manner that shows the ultimate spirit and dedication that can only be seen in people who deeply care for the history of what happened in the air battles in WW2. The research and documentation behind the whole of the exposition is second to none! This calls for a re-visit with more time on our hands. After a tour of the hangar with some most interesting aircraft specimens on display we thanked Trevor, said our goodbyes and found a very warming and welcoming pub (The Three Chimneys) close by for some comforting drinks and food. We'll be back!

There aren't many big exhibits but lots of smaller ones, and every one has a short history of the aircraft and crew. Very moving.
