I've received excellent care by Iain Brown from the start of my diagnosis, followed by surgery, then post surgery checks and my yearly check-ups. Iain has a lovely manner and I had complete trust in him to do a good job with removing the cancer from my breast. My breast has healed beautifully and leaving me with a slightly smaller and pert breast. Job well done and I'm very satisfied with the final result. Thank you Iain.

I’m writing on behalf of my mother Alison Porter (who doesn’t have a google account), she had a mastectomy on the 8th of Feb performed by Dr Brown. Mum was extremely apprehensive about the anaesthesia but Dr Brown made mum feel at ease, like he was her mate. Iain Brown is not only an excellent surgeon who works to the highest standards but his empathy, kindness and ability to explain the processes involved, is second to none. Iain broke the news to me that I had aggressive breast cancer and from then on he instilled in me a confidence in his ability to treat me and gave me the care I needed. It was an enormous decision to elect for bilateral mastectomies after a second breast cancer diagnosis in 2012.The person who gave me the confidence to take that step was Iian Brown.I believed that he could recontruct me \ as good as new\ ; and he did ! From the first time that I was introduced to him I respected his honesty, optimism, candor and empathy. He had unquestionable previous experience in breast reconstructive surgery and suppported my decision . All went well and Iian offered very intelligent and warm support to my daughters who were seriously concerned at the time of the surgical procedure. He is our family Hero. What may surprise people is that he has a wonderful sense of humour and we spent as much time smiling through the whole process as we did worrying. I am delighted with the marvellous way in which he took care of all of us through excellent guidance and counselling. His surgical skills are second to none.Thank you Iian.
