Met John David Feerick at Wake Forest Baptist Hospital in Winston Salem North Carolina. He ordered multiple test for my grandson, with no abnormalities found. However his gastro symptoms were still present, and when I as a grandmother ask Dr. Feerick why he would not do a hida scan for the gallbladder he simply stated “he didn’t want one”. Two days after being discharged we were sent to Charlotte North Carolina to another pediatric gastroenterologist where a hida scan was performed and found his gallbladder function to be at 17% with surgery performed the NEXT day, with immediate relief for my grandson. Poor excuse for a pediatric physician.
