After opening up my wounds and pouring out my emotions to a counselor he informed me that he was moving on and would not be there any longer. After months seeing him and pouring out my emotions. Having a hard time deciding if I want to go back and start over. I’m so tired of being abandoned by friends and family. And the counselor has done the same thing.

If you are a combat veteran in need of help, come here. The vet centers were started by Vietnam veterans not getting what they needed by the VA back in the day. While now the centers fall under the VA umbrella, they still have that community based feel of helping. To the one bad review, perfect example of one not taking responsibility of one's issues. In no way shape or form would the office manager be able to deny this one individual help across the VA spectrum of services. There's more to the story he's not telling but that's not my place to share.

What a joke. I spoke with the Office Manager today and was told that despite having PTSD along with ASD, that my actions and behaviors are all by choice and any difficulty is my own fault. When I questioned hr professionalism, I was told that I was now a threat and would not be serviced. I have never before spoken with her and now due to her attitude and opinions, I have effectively been denied services I desperately need.

I have been going here since the VA forced the only people who help out because there are just too many veterans needing help. I was lucky to be able to follow the only person that I think has truly helped me at the VA and not just push pills. I appreciate everything the staff do for us disabled veterans. Without great people who could be getting paid by people who were born with silver spoons in their mouths crying about how their lives are so bad because the only got a Cadillac CTS and not the CTS-V, like 900 an hour but you sacrifice so much helping veterans that have done things for this country that no men should ever go through. Without people like you the number of veteran suicides would be a lot greater than 22. Tank you guys for all your sacrifice. Hell they are even awesome enough to give me a jump start on my car so I didn't have to call USAA.
