A great beach to fish (get a free NYS permit) or just enjoy the day away from the crowds at field 4-5-6. They never check permits and YES we catch fluke, bass, skates and bluefish here all year. A great spot.

Fishing Permit is required to park here. Can be obtained from admin building for fee, proof of marine fishing registration, and car registration. (Currently 35).

Went there yesterday morning. Quite good small black fish bites. There were schools of bunkers. Permit needed for parking.
