Hoffman was recommended to me by a few people when I asked around for the best bow shop in NOVA. I am a novice to bows and only had limited experience from my scouting days, so I let them know I'd need to be guided through bow and equipment selection. They told me when to come in when they'd have time to help and I did just that. The employees were nice and immediately asked what my budget was and if I had any idea what I was looking for. Once we settled on my basic needs we set out to try a few bows, and they even instructed me on how to shoot properly (as well as I was able to anyway)! They took their time with me and in about an hour I got into a bow that I liked, with the basic equipment I needed and even came in under budget as I chose a used bow over a new one. The team at Hoffman Archery worked to earn my business and I now have a shop I trust for all my archery needs! I will certainly be returning as I get more experience and to get ready for deer season in the fall.

I am giving Hoffman Archery a 5-star review. I have been coming here for several years now and have purchased several bows from Farron and his staff. From the first time I walked in on a busy Saturday right before hunting season started, I was treated with respect and a great deal of patience as I was brand new to the archery world and had absolutely no clue about bows. Once it was my turn Farron focused all his time and attention to getting me setup and teaching me the proper techniques and fundamentals of archery. Farron takes such pride in his work and tries to do his absolute best with everyone that walks through the doors. It never fails that when you’re in the shop Farron is being pulled in about a million different directions (because he is so knowledgeable about Archery and very passionate about his work.) Farron touches every bow before it leaves the shop to ensure that it has been setup properly and is tuned correctly for the shooter. His prices are well below others and he doesn’t force anyone to buy anything they don’t need. If you come in with a budget, he does everything he can to keep you below your budget. I personally haven’t seen a Farron send a bow out of his shop that isn’t dialed in at 20 yards at least and that’s even with brand-new first-time shooters. So, I encourage anyone that wants to get into Archery to go by Hoffman’s and let them set you up with your bow. You won’t be disappointed. (Just keep in mind that Saturdays around hunting season are extremely busy.) Thank you again for everything you have done for me and my family and for treating us like family every time we come in the shop. Looking forward to another awesome hunting season with my bow that you setup. Not to bad of a group at 45 yards in my opinion.

I came here with my two sons, 7 and 10 years old, to purchase compound bows for them both on a busy Saturday. We were all completely new to archery. The owner was very friendly and patient in setting both of them up and teaching them the fundamentals. This is a wonderful store with great staff!

I purchased my first compound bow from Hoffman Archery two and a half weeks ago. To say I'm happy with my purchase is an understatement. The owner and his staff worked with me to pick out a bow to fit me and helped me sight the bow in. I certainly will make additional purchases from this shop. My wife and I have been very happy with the quality of service we received at Hoffman Archery. The owner, his family, and staff are all very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. When my wife bought a bow there they spent a few hours helping her pick one out and get it all dialed in at the range next to their shop. It was a great experience, and we will certainly be shopping there again in the future.
