I have called this organization twice for help. Once was for figuring out if the turtle that randomly showed up in my backyard was okay to be there or if he needed to go somewhere else. They asked me to send in a photo of the turtle and then promptly informed me that it was a “she” and that she was a box turtle and that she was ok where she was. The second time was for helping rescue a baby squirrel I found laying next to his dead mama. It was very sad. So I called them and they came and picked the sweet baby up. A great organization.

Always a very helpful resource for our community when you have questions or concerns about wild animals. They took in this Eastern Box Turtle found in a parking lot far from any green space.

I found a young hatchling in the middle of a driveway. I contacted another center and they told me they wouldn’t take it but when i talked to these people they were very compassionate and caring. I am 15 and i can’t drive, so they drove 45 minutes just to give the bird a chance. They responded quickly, they were very attentive and helpful, and they took the little hatchling that no one else would. I would give them more than five stars if i could!
