They charge 5,000 for 140hr the first day we did class work like safety and one call and the second day we took two paper tests and used a old simulator that was nothing like the real thing at all and it was just a excavator and the rest of the time we where in the equipment in the dirt just kinda winging it. DO NOT USE THIS FACILITY!

The CDL training program offered through Jump Start was the perfect option for me. I was looking for a career change, and a four week program like this gave me training and career prep without the length of a degree program. I feel ready to tackle my first driving position thanks to the education I received.

My name is Bryan Brentin from Berkshire Avenue Brookline, I currently am a student at PIA for the Tractor Trailer Class A CDL Jump Start program and I absolutely love it, my instructors name is Tom and he is an excellent teacher, extremely thorough, and has a lot of patience in explaining all the necessary things you need to know. I am learning a ton of things every day. School is from 7am to 530pm Mon thru Thurs. For 4 weeks, 2 weeks in the classroom and 2wks in the truck. I definitely recommend this school if you are interested in getting your CDL license and they have recruiters coming in all the time looking for entry level employees. So the chances of getting a job before you graduate are very high.
