Amazing bar on the roofs of Vienna. You will not find a better view in the city. The Bar is ideal for an afterwork to catch-up with friends or colleagues. The menu offers a great variety of drinks. The staff is very nice, and is not shy for drink recommendations.
Positives: one of the best views of Vienna as it's slightly on the border, great amenities, comfortable, stylish, warm & cosy and modern in same time ; very nice & friendly staff despite the "trendy" setting. Overall a fantastic place. Negatives: very disapointed with the 2 red wines we chose (and limited choice only 4 red wines) - you would need to go for cocktails instead - which are not cheap. the district is strictly a business district with tall buildings, no walking around after or before. Overall would be 5 stars with a wider and more international wine list, which would make sense for a business location (a few Italian wines, French, Californian, would be great)
Fantastic bar on the roof of the Andaz hotel. Designed in a Scandinavian style, this place offers beautiful views and comfortable cozy seating indoors and outdoors, and serves amazing cocktail creations both classic and self created. Despite the drinks being costly - expect between 13 and 17 Euro for a cocktail - it can get quite crowded on Friday and Saturday nights. There’s room at the bar, though, which even offers power outlets for your phones, and in case it’s not too cold outside you can have your drink standing up to enjoy the view. The outside area does offer heating lamps and even wool blankets to keep warm, so don’t let winter stop you from enjoying this bar, especially because the waiters and bartenders are very quick, highly professional and happy to get creative with your cocktail.
In the weekend you need to reserve a table. Staff is friendly, location is okay too. The view is beautiful. Drinks were fine. Pricey. Classic Scandinavian design
We really enjoyed our time at the bar! The views are awesome and the service is really attentive. I really recommend it if you are in Vienna!
We were celebrating friend’s birthday and were with 4 people, entered the bar while the 5th friend was parking the car. At the entrance they didn’t allow him inside even though I came downstairs to tell he was with us, and 5 people left meanwhile. Also, they have a terrace with holes that is impossible not to ruin your heels. Extremely bad service, never coming back.
unprofessional staff, clearly overwhelmed. arrogant preposition did not help create a good atmosphere, does dimm the ok-ish rooftop view. were neither able to clean the table (crumbs, residue from drinks) nor prepare the drinks right despite being asked to. is it worth visiting? no. there are other bars with a good view.
