Reserved for a Saturday lunch with a few close friends. It was only our group and we fully enjoyed the private atmosphere. A few appetizers were already prepared when we got there, and the tempura, rice and soup were served one by one (the tempura freshly fried!). We had probably seven vegetables and one big chicken breast piece for the tempura, all of which were delicious. Stomachs satisfied too! Chef and owner told us details of how he cooks, the history of the house and restaurant, how he takes the guests into consideration when serving, etc. All very interesting! We loved the way he values all his customers. No A/C in the house, but apparently the temperature doesn’t rise above 30. Just don’t expect a cooled room in the summer. Would love to come again with visiting family or visiting friends.

A tempura restaurant using a Japanese traditional old house built in １９３２. The owner chef has grown up in this house. Tempura is delicious and the chef is very frendly. The Things in the house are still like old days. This is definitely a worth visiting place while you are staying in Japan.
Beautiful restaurant in a beautifully kept traditional house. Food was great, owner exceptionally friendly and the atmosphere peaceful.
その時々に仕入れた素材、店主こだわりの料理がどれも美味しいです いまは予約だけになってますので早めに予約すればそれだけこだわった物が食べれそうです。子供用にワンプレートも用意してくれる子供連れにも優しいお店でした。 また行きたいと思います
要相談で天麩羅以外にも予算や要望を伝えるとコース料理の様に提供してくれます。居心地が良く隠れ家的な場所で会食や商談、接待にも使いやすいです。貸切にも出来るようです。木造一軒家の落ち着いた趣でくつろげます。以前提供していた天麩羅と比べて衣も薄くなって更に美味しく食べやすくなりました。自家製の梅酒は濃厚で一度飲んだら他の梅酒だと物足りなくなってしまうくらい美味しいので、ぜひロックで飲んで頂きたいです。
