Founded 1972 with a vision to create a different kind of company built around ethics, compassion and a deep understanding of the customer. Our aim is to influence society in both fashion and social responsibility. Our purpose: A journey to create a world of love, confidence, and belonging. It’s why we do what we do – it’s the point. Specializing in the design and production of quality, stylish and accessible footwear and accessories, at the ALDO Group, we’ve covered all corners of the footwear market. With 3,000 points of sale in over 100 countries around the world, we operate under two signature brands, Aldo and Call It Spring, and a multi-brand retail concept, GLOBO. We are also a wholesale leader and direct sourcing provider of fashion footwear and accessories Aldo Group knows the value of cheap chic; heck, its founder practically tripped over the concept. Aldo Group runs more than 1,600 shoe stores, including about 1,000 under the Aldo banner, and the Spring, Locale, and GLOBO names, among others. The company has stores in Canada, the US, the UK, and through franchises in some 60 other countries worldwide. Aldo Group entered the US market in 1993 and has grown to number 475 stores here. Globetrotting Aldo's international sales now outpace its business in Canada. Plans call for more expansion in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia, and the US. The privately-held company was born with the 1972 opening of four stores by Moroccan founder Aldo Bensadoun.
