Afrimat Limited is a leading black empowered open pit mining company providing construction materials and industrial minerals. Listed in the 'Construction & Building Materials' sector of the Main Board JSE Limited it operates through five key divisions: ■Aggregates ■Concrete Based Products ■Industrial Minerals ■Contracting International ■Commodities Backed by more than 45 years' experience Afrimat supplies a broad range of construction materials ranging from Aggregates (Sand and Stone), Concrete based products (Readymix, bricks, blocks and pavers) as well as industrial minerals (Clinker, Limestone, Dolomite) and Commodities (Iron Ore). Further, Afrimat has established a strong foothold in contracting services comprising mobile crushing, screening, drilling and blasting. The group's growing geographical footprint covers vast sections of urban and rural Southern Africa, supported by the fleet of mobile crushers that offers flexibility beyond fixed areas of operation. As a result, the group's integrated product offering is today distributed across the Western Cape, Eastern Cape, KwaZulu-Natal, Free State, Gauteng, Limpopo, Mpumalanga and Mozambique. The group's capabilities enable Afrimat to service projects of any scale from major infrastructure and construction projects for state-owned enterprises and parastatals through to small private sector contracts. Afrimat's consistently low staff turnover has resulted in a deep skills pool. Genuine transformation, starting with staff and management and extending to community upliftment, is integral to the group's sustainability. In addition, environmental conservation is a pivotal element of Afrimat's growth strategy. Afrimat Limited supplies building materials to the building and construction industries. The Companies products include aggregate stone products, ready-mix concrete, building blocks and bricks, and molded concrete products.
