By providing services, such as collecting, storing, processing and selling the harvest, Agromada closes the gap between producers on the one hand, and consumers and the processing industry on the other. Thanks to our extensive storage and transport resources, we can act as a buffer to bridge the time lags between seasonal production subject to environmental influences and ongoing, demand-oriented consumption. Agromada cooperative foster extensive direct partnerships with farmers growing grains, vegetables and fruits and support them in all stages, from sowing the seed and crop protection through to the harvest. Naturally this also applies to farms with animal husbandry where we supply optimally mixed feedstuff and advice on animal health. Farmers need Agromada cooperative to provide the services and functions they would have a hard time doing themselves. Our cooperative services include functions like building facilities to handle grain, developing domestic and international markets for commodities, providing a reliable supply of inputs, and sharing the product expertise producers need to raise crops and livestock. Agromada cooperative serve as business advisors, providing the input to help us make decisions based on the needs of local grains, vegetable and fruit producers.
