The glamorous outlook of fashion has for years kept the dark side hidden. The industry which accounts for 10% of global carbon emission is also the world’s second most polluting industry. Countless instances such as the disastrous incident in Rana Plaza which took lives of 1135 people or the environmental crisis in Aral Sea and numerous other such instances forced us to step back and rethink about the CHOICES we as a consumer make. If fashion helps us express who we are and what we stand for, then our clothing choices matter. We work relentlessly to create a smart, sustainable and economical solution by optimally utilizing the available resources to the fullest (clothes in our context). We work with pre-obsessed dresses (we hate the term USED) which still have got life in it, reducing the demand for scarce resources that goes into making a new one in the process.
